Frequently Asked Questions

TranslatorsLand.com provides freelance translators and interpreters with a curated, up-to-date list of 50 translation and interpreting companies in North America and Europe each month. All companies on the list are actively recruiting freelancers worldwide. Subscribers can quickly find opportunities, save time searching, and focus on sending résumés to companies that are interested in their services. Additional features include 2 extra companies per month to cover recent updates and a monthly bonus list of 10 companies that may be specialized or have unique recruitment requirements.
The information in each monthly list is verified the month before it is released, so it is accurate and up-to-date for the current month. After that, the data is not checked again. To account for any recent changes, each month we also provide, free of charge, details for 2 additional agencies, bringing the total to 52 companies.
No. Each company appears only once in our monthly lists. Once a company is included in a given month, it will not appear in any future lists. This means that if a company was listed during a month when you were not subscribed, you will not have access to it later.
All translation agencies in the database are based in the U.S., Canada, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. These regions represent a significant portion of the global translation market and generally offer better pay opportunities for freelancers.
Most of the translation companies in our database are based in the United States (32%) and the United Kingdom (15%). Other well-represented countries include Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, each making up between 4% and 7% of the total.
No. If a company has multiple websites or branches, it will appear only once in the database, listed under its country of incorporation. This avoids duplication and helps you save time when reviewing opportunities.
Each month, subscribers receive a bonus list of 10 additional translation companies that may not fit most freelancers’ profiles and therefore aren’t included in the main list. These companies might recruit in very specific fields or languages, may be looking for interpreters rather than translators, or might have recruitment pages only in languages other than English. This bonus feature provides extra opportunities to discover potential clients and expand your freelance network.
